Product Description

  • Frequently used in Korean and Chinese cooking applications but popular throughout the world, these beef plate short ribs are flavorful, moist and tender when braised or grilled. They're sourced from grain-fed beef.
  • Short ribs are cut from the rib and plate primals and a small corner of the square-cut chuck. A full slab of short ribs is typically about 10-inches square, ranges from 3-5 inches thick, contains three or four ribs, and a layer of boneless meat and fat that is thick on one end of the slab and thin on the other.
  • These halved rib portions, with bones approximately five inches long, are ready to be slathered with sauce and slow-cooked until succulent.
  • This beef is wet-aged a minimum of 21 days, ensuring significant tenderness.
  • USDA Choice is a high USDA grade, with ample marbling. It's quite tender, juicy and flavorful.
  • These fresh, four-pound rib portions come in two-count packages, two packages per case.
