Product Description
- This classic vegetable blend is a well-balanced combination of 90% sweet, green peas and 10% small, white pearl onions. Easy to prepare, simply place the poly bag of vegetables into boiling water and cook until tender. There's no need to thaw. You'll save time and labor while providing your customers with a consistently high-quality product any time of year.
- Use this delicious blend alone as a side dish topped with butter or as an ingredient.
- You can jazz up peas and onions by adding them to a hot chicken broth, butter and dill. Cook and stir for five minutes. Then add lemon juice, watercress and more butter and dill. Season with salt and pepper.
- The peas are rated U.S. Grade A because they are tender and offer good flavor and color. They are practically defect free. The pearl onions are rated U.S. Grade A for their good flavor, aroma, color and appearance. They have no grit or dirt to affect appearance or edibility.
- There are 12, 40-ounce poly-bag packages per case. The vegetables are individually quick-frozen to ensure freshness and enable easy separation.
- Store frozen for up to a year.
