Product Description

  • Sometimes considered a luxury, foie gras-is definitely delicious. This product comes from Moulard ducks and is known for its sweet and rich flavor. The ducks used are raised responsibly on the farm to ensure the best care and quality for the customers and your guests.
  • The foie gras is presliced and ready for you to prepare to serve your guests, reducing labor costs and minimizing product waste. Be careful about cooking it or you will have a pan of expensive fat!
  • Season the slices with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a heavy skillet and saute the foie gras for 45 - 60 seconds per side. It will still be pink inside. Remove the slices and add balsamic vinegar to a bit of the fat and bring it to boil. Serve the sauce with the foie gras.
  • A truly decadent burger can be made by stuffing the center of a raw burger with a slice of foie gras. Or place a sauteed slice on the top of a burger for an upscale offering.
  • The product is packed ten slices per package to ensure product quality and shelf life.
  • Keep this product frozen until ready to use.
