Product Description
- This USDA-inspected pork sausage is made of cuts from the belly, loin, ham, picnic and shoulder. The tightly controlled fat-to-lean ratio provides maximum yield, less shrinkage, less grease and consistency batch after batch.
- The sausage makes a great pizza topping, and you can add it to sausage gravies, omelets, soups, chili or pasta sauce to add savory flavor. Form it into patties for a breakfast sandwich or to serve alongside eggs and potatoes.
- For a tempting casserole, cook the crumbled sausage until it is no longer pink, drain it and set it aside. Combine condensed cream of mushroom soup with milk, onion, salt and pepper. Then layer sliced potatoes, the soup mixture and the sausage. Repeat the layers and bake it at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until the potatoes are tender.
- There are five, 32-ounce packages per case. Store frozen for up to 180 days. Thaw in the refrigerator or in the microwave.
