Product Description

  • Angus beef offers exceptional tenderness and outstanding flavor. Fresh, USDA Choice grain-fed beef tenderloins are whole and boneless. They are peeled with the side-muscle on (PSMO). Roast whole or slice for filet mignon. The meat can be roasted from fresh state to desired temperature or trimmed and cut for tenderloin steaks to be broiled or grilled.
  • USDA Choice is a high USDA grade, with ample marbling, and it is quite tender, juicy and flavorful.
  • Roast the tenderloin and present as a sliced entree. Rub the loin with a mixture of garlic and herbs, and roast it in the oven until its internal temperature registers 130 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare. Let rest and slice. Serve with sauteed mushrooms and crusty bread.
  • Tenderloin steaks are delicious any way they are prepared, but grilling, pan-searing and broiling are favorites. Season the steaks simply with salt and pepper. Sear the steaks in an oiled hot pan until the internal temperature is 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Serve with an herbed-butter pan sauce drizzled over the top.
